Hanshul & Nirzari
We have done destination weddings in 24 cities. We have managed transfers, logistics, and contingencies of every kind. This one was different. For the first time in our experience — and we believe for the first time in India at this scale — we chartered a full IRCTC train for a wedding.

Ahmedabad first. Then the train.
The celebration began in Ahmedabad with three to four pre-wedding events — sangeet, mehndi, garba — designed as a complete experience in themselves. By the time guests arrived at the station, they weren't just attending a wedding; they were part of a journey. That was intentional. The train wasn't transport. It was the first event of Jaisalmer.

A complete train. Only family.
We worked with IRCTC to charter an entire train — every coach, every berth — exclusively for the wedding party. No strangers. No other passengers. 300+ guests, all family, traveling together for two nights from Ahmedabad to Jaisalmer. We managed catering on board, entertainment, décor inside the coaches, and a complete welcome experience at both ends. The train had been made theirs.

The logistics that make it possible
A chartered IRCTC train requires negotiations that most event planners have never had. Permissions, insurance, catering licensing for a moving kitchen, timing coordination with the railway network, and the complete absence of any margin for error — 300 people in one vehicle on a fixed schedule cannot be late. We built the event around the train schedule, not the other way around.

Jaisalmer. And back again.
The wedding in Jaisalmer was everything the Golden City deserves — desert grandeur, candlelight, the fort as backdrop. After the celebrations, guests boarded the same train home. The return journey had its own quality: quieter, reflective, full of families staying up late talking. That two-night train journey became, for many guests, the part of the wedding they remember most.

Every wedding we design begins with a conversation — not a quotation.
